On December 28, an expanded meeting of the Academic Council took place at the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the RK, during which the results of the outgoing year were summed up and plans and tasks for 2018 were discussed.
In the report of the Director of KAZISS Z.K. Shaukenova presented the main results of KAZISS activities over the past year on the preparation of predictive-analytical and scientific information materials in the field of domestic policy, socio-economic processes and foreign policy activities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the directions in 2017 such as expert discussions, meetings, round tables, international conferences, book presentations, international seminars, press briefings, media appearances were conducted: in print media, on television and radio, in electronic media. The monographs, books and pamphlets, issues of scientific magazines of KAZISS and articles in scientific publications of the republic and foreign countries have been published.
During the discussion, the deputy director of KAZISS M.I. Zhumagulov, the heads of departments M.M. Omarov, A.S. Zholdybalina, L.T. Nurkatova, chief expert B. Abdigaliuly, and the head of the KAZISS Representative Office in Almaty M.Nurgaliyeva spoke up.
Director of KAZISS Z.K. Shaukenova thanked the team for the work done, the implementation of the plans and wished professional successes in 2018, stressing that this is the year of the 25th anniversary of KAZISS.
At the meeting of the Academic Council took place the solemn presentation of awards: The Honorary Diploma was awarded to the main scientific employees of V.Yu. Dodonov, I.A. Chernykh, L.R. Karataeva, research fellows B.A. Syzdykov, Zh.M. Sankhaeva, A.V. Reshetnyak, and deputy head of the informatization department B. L. Lespek.
