In the framework of the state program “Ruhani zhenhyru” on the eve of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the capital of Kazakhstan held the opening of a museum in the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography. Honored guests of the event – Vice-Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aktoty Raimkulova and Deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dinara Nuketayeva cut the red ribbon in a solemn atmosphere.
The opening ceremony of the museum was attended by Director of the State Opera and Ballet Theater "Astana Opera" Galim Akhmedyarov, Director of "Astana Ballet" theater Valeriy Kuzembaev, Director of Kazakhstan Central Concert Hall Zhenis Seydollauly, Acting director of Kazakhstan's National Museum Leonid Kochetov, Artistic director of K.Kuanyshbaev Kazakh Musical Drama Theatre Talgat Temenov.
Besides, the event was attended by Deputy director of KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Zhumagulov. He took part the ceremony on the invitation of the Vice-rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography Bibigul Nusupzhanova. Bibigul Nusupzhanova is a partner of KazISS. In May 2017 she participated in an expert meeting to discuss the project - "Modern Kazakhstan's culture in the global world", proposed by the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in the program article "Looking into the future: the modernization of public consciousness".
In the exposition of the Museum there was presented a wide range of archival documents, photo and video materials in which the history of the formation of the national choreographic art is imprinted. Among the rare exhibits were “Book of Wishes” opened by the rare exhibits was the Book of Wishes, opened by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s President N. Nazarbayev, “Time Capsule” laid by the Head of State until 2026 as well as the first diplomas of winners of Republican and International Olympiads, competitions and festivals.
