The Director of KazISS moderated the roundtable session "Women in a Changing World: Opportunities and Prospects"

         On July 3, 2018 the Academy of Political Management of the party "Nur Otan" held roundtable session "Women in a Changing World: Opportunities and Prospects". The roundtable discussion was divided into three sessions: "Women in politics", "Women in the social sphere" and "Women in the economy".

         The session was opened by Director of the Academy of Political Management Zhanar Bukanova. She presented moderators of sessions – Chairman of the Committee on Civil Society Affairs of the Ministry of Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aliya Galimova, Director of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zarema Shaukenova, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, Research and International Partnerships of Academy of public administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sholpan Yessimova.

         Fruitful discussion and exchange of views was held between the speakers and participants of the roundtable. Among speakers were President of the UAE Business Women Council Farida Abdulla Kamber Al Awadhi, Director of NAMA Women Advancement Establishment, member of the UAE Business Women Council Reem BinKaram; Deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanat Omarbekova and Aizada Kurmanova; Head of the Main Military Clinical Hospital of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulparida Baidildaeva, President of the Union of Business Ladies of Georgia Ekaterine Maisuradze, Chairman of the NGO "National Council of Women" Hanzada Baltaeva.
