On April 16, 2018, the "Youth" Research Center of the Ministry for Religious Affairs and Civil Society of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a round table discussion on the "Humanitarian Education; the imperative of modernization of public consciousness" attended by the representatives of government bodies and youth organizations, experts, as well as specialists in working with young people.
The moderator of the round table was the director of the "Youth" Talgat Kaliev Research Center, the speakers were the Editor of the National Translation Bureau Timur Mukhtarov, the Director of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zarema Shaukenova, and the Chairman of the "Kazakhstan - 2050" National Movement Mukhtar Mankeyev.
The discussion covered the role of the currently implemented projects, namely "New Humanitarian Knowledge” and “100 textbooks in the Kazakh language" in the development of humanitarian education of the young in the context of modernization of public consciousness.
Thus, younger experts of the "Youth" Research Center Asel Ibadullaeva and Alina Abdullayeva dwelled in details on the book of a British philosopher, publicist and scholar Karen Armstrong on 4000 years of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, that had been recently translated into the Kazakh language while the President of the Davos World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab presented "The Tartu Industry Revolution".
