On January 31, 2018, KAZISS expert Anna Alshanskya took part in the Round Table discussion on the President's Address to the Nation "The Fourth Industrial Revolution" held in the Library of the First President of Kazakhstan, moderated by Deputy Director of the Library, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov.
The discussion touched upon Kazakhstan in amidst technological and digital changes, its aim of reforming the financial sector, further industrialization and increase of productivity of the agricultural sector, as well as enhancement of human capital.
The Deputy Director of the Institute for the History of the State Amangeldy Kashinbayev, Senior Research Fellow of the Institute of World Economy and Politics Aizhan Mukhishbaeva, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the "Molodyozh" Research Center Asem Kaydarova were among the key speakers together with the representatives of the Library of the First President of Kazakhstan, namely Deputy Director Botagoz Kaipova, Deputy Director Timur Shaymergenov, Head of Management Service Zhapsarbai Kuanyshev, Leading Research Associate Sagintay Berdagulova.
Anna Alshanskaya noted higher position of Kazakhstan in international ratings especially in terms of education and health and emphasized the necessity of further progressive development; for example, the vital importance of lifelong learning approach that should be adopted by the national education service due to rapid technological changes.
