The Head of State attended a festive concert dedicated to the Day of National Unity of Kazakhstan.
Nursultan Nazarbayev was greeted at the square in front of Kazakh Eli monument by representatives of the ethno-cultural centres of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, who demonstrated their folk traditions and dances and sang songs.
In his welcoming speech, the President of Kazakhstan congratulated all compatriots and those present on the public holiday.
- I congratulate everyone on our common holiday - the Day of National Unity of Kazakhstan. Thanks to the unity, we have built an independent state. Our unity is praised by all ethnic groups, from all over the world they come to us to learn how to build a multinational state, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
The Head of State noted that our country’s impressive achievements became possible due to the unity and friendship of the multi-ethnic nation of Kazakhstan.
- Thanks to the unity, we took the responsibility to be among the 30 developed countries and improve the lives of our people. Thanks to the unity of our people, I announced Five Social Presidential Initiatives aimed at creating favourable living conditions for every Kazakhstani, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
In conclusion, the President of Kazakhstan once again congratulated all those present on the occasion and wished a beautiful future for the younger generations, as well as happiness, prosperity and good for every Kazakh family.
- We see the diversity of all cultures, all languages and all traditions in our country. We are one, we respect and love each other; we obey a single Constitution, unified laws. Being friendly, respecting each other is a great happiness. Let us take care of this unity, let us cherish our happiness!, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
