During the discussion, experts discussed the features of the current election campaign for the election of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its possible influence on the further development of the party political field and socio-political processes in the country. According to the participants, the stage of nomination of candidates from political movements and political parties passed without violating the law.
As the doctor of political sciences Seilbek Musatayev emphasized in his speech: “The general organization of elections, the nomination of candidates at all stages is carried out in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. There are no violations of the law yet. Everything is within the legal framework. Now it is difficult to say about the percentage of election results. In the previous elections, the President himself entered the fight. His undisputed authority before the country stood at the forefront. The current elections are held in a new format”.
The expert discussion was attended by representatives of research structures, the expert community, higher education institutions and the media. The KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was represented by the chief researchers Yuri Buluktayev and Lesya Karataeva.
