On May 3, was held a meeting with experts of the Information Analytical Center for International Relations (IACIR) at the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies (KazISS) under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Between KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Information and Analytical Center for International Relations, was signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on 31st of October 2018, in Tashkent. IACMME pays priority attention to the study of key problems of regional development in Central Asia, as well as issues of bilateral cooperation of the Republic of Uzbekistan with major foreign policy partners. As part of the implementation of priority research programs, the Center actively interacts with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other ministries and departments.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Saidikram Niyazkhodzhayev, Head of the IACIR Department Murad Uzakov, leading IACIR Researcher Kristina Dzhurakulova.
from KazISS were participated The Deputy Director Sanat Kushkumbayev, the senior expert Bolat Tokabayev, the Head of the International Studies Department Assel Nazarbetova, and the Researcher of the International Studies Department Kymbat Nurgaliyeva.
The meeting discussed key areas of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, as well as prospects for expanding trade and economic, interregional and cross-border cooperation between the countries.
The sides exchanged views on a wide range of topical issues of regional cooperation in Central Asia, as well as multilateral interaction within the framework of the EAEU, SCO and CICA.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Saidikram Niyazkhodjaev emphasized the dynamic development of relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in the spirit of strategic partnership.
Deputy Director Sanat Kushkumbayev noted the importance of further strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations between the countries of the Central Asian region, taking into account the existing potential for the implementation of the objectives of cooperation and cooperation.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation between the KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Information and Analytical Center for International Relations in accordance with the Memorandum of Cooperation, which will also be implemented within the Year of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan.
