Laumulin Murat Turarovich, Chief Researcher of the KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor - well-known political scientist. The monograph “Nuclear-Orientalist Assignments of Kazakhstan” is an extended and actualized publication in the Kazakh language of the author's fundamental work “Study of the history and ethnography of the Kazakhs in Western Oriental studies”.

The monograph "Steppe rulers and their diplomacy in the XVIII-XIX centuries" is devoted to the activities of three generations of the rulers of the Kazakh Khanate of two centuries to preserve the Kazakh statehood, territorial integrity and national unity.
Opening the presentation, the director of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies Zarema Shaukenova emphasized that the presentation of books prepared for publication by KazISS is carried out as part of the implementation of programmatic articles by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasa Nursultan Nazarbayev “Looking to the future: modernization of public consciousness”, “Seven Facets of the Great steppe” "and timed to the Day of the capital. The monographs of scientists have embodied the idea of the program articles of Elbasy about the need to preserve, in-depth study and understanding of the centuries-old historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan, the disclosure of its milestones, images and names that had a great influence on the history of the people and the future of the country. The ancient world and modernity are one, as N.A. Nazarbayev, “a unique civilization, continuing its development in a continuous stream of history. And this is the right approach, allowing you to understand your origins, and indeed the entire national history in all its depth and complexity”.

Klara Shaysultanovna noted that she had been working for 50 years on writing the book “The Steppe Lords and Their Diplomacy in the XVIII-XIX Centuries”: “This book is the result of my half-century work on the history of Kazakh-Chinese relations. And if earlier these issues were considered in the context of economic and political problems, then this book focuses on a civilizational approach. Now the archives of the whole world are opening, there are various state programs, according to which people drive and bring unique materials. A lot of original materials that I translated. My research method - first I translate the materials and openly publish, then on the basis of them I write my works. So that our researchers have the opportunity to approach work critically”.
In turn, Murat Turarovich noted that he investigated the archives during the perestroika: “All available sources were used in the work. When I was in graduate school — and this was in the era of perestroika — the archives were only opening, and I had this happy opportunity to access valuable materials. My book is about the place Kazakhstan occupies in Central Asia, world science, who and with what purposes studied these issues, all concepts on nomadism and issues of Turkic and Islamic studies are presented”.
After the introductory words of the authors of the books, the guests of honor of the presentation were Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, authoritative Kazakhstan historian Bolat Komekov and Director of the Institute of History of the State of the Kazakh Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Historical Sciences Ayagan Burkitbay cut the symbolic red ribbons in a solemn atmosphere, with the hope that the books would find its many readers.
The guests who spoke at the presentation shared their impressions about the books and their authors. So, Academician of the NAS of RK Bolat Komekov said: “I have known Klara Khafizova for many years - since 1958. She absorbed the best academic traditions of scientific knowledge and research. We came to the Academy of Sciences together and worked together. She has a terrific strong character. When it comes to science, it never retreats and does not give up its ideas. In her work, sources, research tools are very important for her, and when they come together, wonderful works come out”.
