On July 4, an expert meeting with a delegation of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) was held at the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies (KazISS) under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador, Head of the OSCE Program Office in Nur-Sultan, Gyorgy Szabo, Deputy Head of the OSCE Program Office in Nur-Sultan, Diana Digol, OSCE experts Ivo Petrov, Matias Boss and Luis Gomez-Echeveri.
On behalf of KazISS, the meeting was attended by the deputy director Sanat Kushkumbayev, the senior expert Bolat Tokabayev, the senior researcher of the International Studies Department Anastasia Reshetnyak, the researchers of the International Studies Department Kymbat Nurgaliyeva and Temirlan Eskendir.
During the meeting, topical issues and prospects for cooperation between Kazakhstan and the OSCE in the economic, environmental, transit, transport and cultural-humanitarian sphere were discussed.
The meeting participants exchanged views on the possibilities of expanding multilateral cooperation in Eurasia, including within the EU, the EAEU, the CICA, the SCO.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening fruitful relations between the OSCE and Kazakhstan, the KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the OSCE Program Office in Nur-Sultan.
