Almaty Representative Office of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in collaboration with the TechGarden Autonomous Cluster Fund on 19th February of 2020 organized an expert discussion «Kazakhstan-German cooperation in the field of digitalization. Prospects for the future».
This is the third meeting held by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung on the topic of Kazakh-European cooperation. The key focus of the expert discussions was to identify the risks and potential opportunities for cooperation between Europe and Kazakhstan within the framework of the Belt and Road initiative.
The German delegation was led by State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure Steffen Bilger. The event was attended by deputies of the German Bundestag, as well as several other German and Kazakhstani entrepreneurs and experts.
During the discussion, experts shared their vision of prospective areas to enhance cooperation in the field of digitalization the economy. The implementation of Artificial Intelligence in agriculture and industry, as well as the prospects for the development of the logistics sector were in focus.
The event was attended by Lesya Karataeva, the chief research officer at KazISS.
