In March 16, 2021, Slyamzhar Akhmetzharov, a senior research fellow at the KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held an online seminar for undergraduate students of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As part of the online seminar, APA students got acquainted with the procedure for preparing operational analytics and conducting fundamental research at KazISS. Slyamzhar Akhmetzharov told the undergraduates about the main types of qualitative research in KazISS and methods of data collection.
In addition, the students got acquainted with the editorial and publishing activities of the institute. KazISS expert presented author's monographs, methodological manuals, collections of conference materials, as well as periodicals published on the Institute's platform in 2020.
As a result of the online seminar, APA students discussed the methodology of their master's studies with an expert from KazISS and received recommendations for improving scientific work. Interest was expressed in conducting similar online training sessions in the future as part of cooperation between KazISS and APA.
