On April 1, 2021, an online discussion took place following the results of the informal summit of the heads of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States (CCTSS), organized by the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (ISRS).
The event was attended by the heads and leading experts of the analytical centers of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Hungary.
The Deputy Director of the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies Sanjar Valiev, as well as the Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Mr. Gismat Gozalov made a welcoming speech.
The main speakers of the event were Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Board of the Center for Analysis of International Relations of Azerbaijan; Professor Hussein Baggi, President of The Turkish Foreign Policy Institute (FPI); Marton Ugroshdy, Director of the Hungarian Institute of International Relations and Trade. In the discussion part, the leading experts of ISRS, including the chief researcher Lobar Umarova, shared their views.
The experts expressed their opinion on the results of the past informal summit of the CCTSS, discussed the prospects for its further development, and expressed a wish to hold discussion meetings between the analytical centers of the CCTSS countries as often as possible.
On behalf of KazISS, the head of the KazISS Representative Office in Almaty, Asel Aben, took part in the event and spoke as part of the main speakers. In her speech, she spoke about new areas of economic cooperation between the CCTSS participants.
