«People about People»: What do Kazakhstan is think about Friendship?

June 9 is the International Friendship Day! The Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan presents the answers of Kazakhstanis to the question of whether they have reliable friends or not.

The holiday gained international significance in 1958 after it was recognized by the United Nations. The most important thing to do on this day is to meet up with friends.This is the single most important tradition of the International Friendship Day. As part of a sociological survey,Kazakhstanis were asked a question: “Have you succeeded in having
reliable friends in your life?”

The vast majority of those surveyed have a positive experience of friendly relations, or positive
attitudes towards friends – 82.8%.
