The expert Kazakhstan-Turkey round table, organized under the auspices of Central Asian Security and Cooperation Forum, took place on November 8 at Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The online-format event brought together leading experts from the Center for International Studies of KazISS and the Institute of Foreign Policy Studies of Turkey.
The round table discussed current issues of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey, as well as their roles in ensuring connectivity in the Central Asian region. Experts exchanged opinions and analysis of contemporary geopolitical and economic trends, and also considered the prospects for the development of bilateral relations.
The event emphasized the importance of continuing trusted cooperation between the two countries to promote ideas of peace, security, and sustainable development in the Turkic world. Participants expressed interest in holding bilateral and multilateral meetings on a regular basis to present recommendations that contribute to the further development of relations and the well-being of citizens.
