On January 27, 2025, a meeting was held at the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KazISS) with Alexander Rytov, EBSCO’s representative for Eastern Russia, Central Asia, and the Caucasus.
EBSCO Information Services is a leading provider of research databases and library technologies, offering access to global scientific resources. Founded in 1944, the company has been supporting academic and expert communities worldwide for many years by helping them find relevant and reliable information.
During the event, a presentation was given on EBSCO’s capabilities, including a wide range of information databases, the EBSCO Discovery Service for global scientific research, and a subscription platform featuring materials from leading publishers such as Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Sage, and others.
Both parties expressed mutual interest in strengthening cooperation aimed at enhancing KazISS’s analytical potential. The anticipated collaboration with EBSCO is expected to provide the institute with access to up-to-date scientific data and improve the quality of research work.
KazISS emphasized that partnerships with international organizations such as EBSCO play a crucial role in strengthening the global standing of Kazakhstan’s science and analytics, as well as facilitating the country’s integration into the international scientific community.
