A joint memorandum was signed by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Institute for Strategic Studies under the National Security Council of Mongolia

Today in the framework of Central Asian Security and Cooperation Forum “Asia in the Changing World: Agenda for the Future” Memorandum of cooperation between Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Institute for Strategic Studies under the National Security Council of Mongolia was signed.

The document was signed by: on behalf of the KazISS Director of the Institute Yerkin Tukumov and Director of the Mongolian Institute Begz Davaadorj on behalf of the ISS.

The Memorandum creates a legal basis for cooperation between the institutes. It envisages joint activities, research in the direction of the two organizations, exchange of research papers, joint scientific conferences and round tables on topics of mutual interest.

It should be added that for the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies this is already the 66th memorandum of cooperation with leading “think tanks” of the world during 30 years’ history of the Institute. Among KazISS’s partners are well-known analytical and research institutes from the USA, Canada, Great Britain, China, Russia, India, Germany and other countries.
