On January 15, a meeting was held at the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan between KazISS Director Zhandos Shaimardanov and the Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yoav Bistritsky.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation across a wide range of areas. Zhandos Shaimardanov emphasized the importance of developing a comprehensive partnership between Kazakhstan and Israel, particularly in the fields of advanced technologies and innovation, including artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and startup ecosystems.
Introducing the guests to the main areas of the Institute’s activities, the KazISS Director noted the need to intensify interaction between scientific and educational institutions and think tanks of the two countries in order to exchange experience and expert information in the fields of economics, politics, and international relations.
In turn, the Ambassador of the State of Israel expressed interest in further deepening cooperation between Kazakhstan and Israel, emphasizing the high potential of the partnership and readiness to develop expert-level engagement.
