On May 28, 2025, in the lead-up to the Astana International Forum 2025, the Director of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies (KazISS), Yerkin Tukumov, held a meeting with Emmanuel Dupuy, Director of the French think tank “Institute for European Perspective and Security Studies” (IPSE).
Emmanuel Dupuy is recognized as a leading international expert on foreign policy issues in Central Asia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key global trends shaping today’s international agenda.
They also exchanged views on cultural and humanitarian developments that influence international diplomacy.
Special attention was given to expert-level cooperation. It was noted that in the context of an evolving geopolitical landscape, dialogue between expert communities is becoming increasingly important.
