Deputy Director for Foreign Policy

He oversees the Institute’s activities in the areas of foreign policy, national and international security, as well as the development of its expert-analytical, forecasting, research, and methodological work system.

A graduate of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Faculty of International Relations), he holds a Candidate of Historical Sciences degree and is fluent in English and German.

Recipient of the Eren Enbegi Ushin medal (For Distinguished Labor) and other departmental awards.

Author of the monograph Putin’s Russia: Geopolitical Revenge or Aggressive Defense?, over 50 scholarly articles, and 7 public analytical reports.

Deputy Director for Domestic Policy

She oversees the Institute’s work in the areas of domestic policy, sociological research, methodological support of the electoral process, and analysis of public electoral sentiments. She is also responsible for developing a system of expert-analytical, forecasting, research, and methodological activities within the Institute.

A graduate of E.A. Buketov Karaganda State University (Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology) and L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, where she completed both a master’s and a doctoral program in political science.
She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science.

She has completed academic internships at INTO University of East Anglia (UK) and Central European University (Hungary) as a recipient of the international Bolashak scholarship.
Fluent in English.

She has published more than 30 articles on the development of think tanks, political technologies, and domestic policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
She is the author of the monograph “Expert-Analytical Centers in Politics: Global Experience and Kazakhstan.” She has participated as a researcher and analyst in 17 various scientific projects commissioned by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, government bodies, and analytical institutions.

Deputy Director for Economic Policy

He oversees the Institute’s activities in the areas of national and economic policy, security, international economics, and strategic planning. He is also responsible for developing the system of expert-analytical, forecasting, research, and methodological work within the Institute.

A graduate of Kokshetau State University (majors in English and German Languages and Mathematics and Informatics) and Ohio University, USA (Master’s degree in Applied Economics).

Fluent in English and German.

Medal “For Distinguished Labor” (2022); Medal “Loyalty to the Cause” from the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken” (2015); and other departmental honors.

Deputy Director for Administrative Affairs

She oversees the Institute’s operations in the areas of financial and economic activities, administrative and logistical support, and media coordination.

A graduate of Shakarim Kudaiberdiev Semipalatinsk State University (Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, and Auditing), Kainar University (Master’s degree in Law), and the Financial Academy (Doctoral studies in Economics).

Head of the Representative Office of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty

She is responsible for organizing and managing the activities of the KazISS Representative Office in the city of Almaty.

A graduate of Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, with both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Faculty of International Relations. She completed doctoral studies at the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Political Science.

She is the author of approximately 80 scientific publications, including articles in academic journals, materials from national and international scientific conferences, and mass media outlets. She is also a co-author of 16 collective monographs and has participated as a co-executor in 5 grant-funded and 3 program-targeted research projects commissioned by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Her research interests include political institutions, political processes, mass media, global processes in mass communications, international relations, and the foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

Secretary for Academic and Research Affairs

She ensures the functioning of the Institute and its Academic Council and contributes to achieving the Institute’s strategic objectives.

A graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy and Economics of Kazakh State University named after S.M. Kirov (Department of Political Economy). She holds a Doctor of Economic Sciences degree and the academic title of Associate Professor.
She completed a research internship at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University (USA) as a Bolashak International Scholarship fellow.

A specialist in the field of public administration, she serves as an expert of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Public Administration (CEPA).

She is the author of over 75 publications, including 11 articles in international peer-reviewed journals.
