- Head of the Department of Global Economy and Sustainable Development, category A2-1
Functional responsibilities:
Organizing the implementation of research projects planned for the departments in the Institute’s annual, current, and thematic work programs; selecting research methods and tools; defining the final objectives and expected outcomes of the studies; and identifying ways to solve the tasks assigned to the department.
Participation in the development of conceptual, programmatic, and methodological documents, as well as forecasts and proposals in the field of economic policy research.
Conducting scientific and analytical research, ensuring compliance with work discipline among department staff, and performing other related duties.

Requirements for competition participants:
Higher education; an academic degree of Doctor or Candidate of Sciences; availability of scientific publications; at least 5 years of experience in research and organizational work, or at least 5 years of work experience in areas relevant to the functional responsibilities of the position.

Within 15 calendar days from the next working day following the last publication of the announcement on the official KazISS website.
