KazISS Hosted a Meeting with Delegation from the Friedrich Ebert Foundation

On June 10, 2025, experts from the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies (KazISS) met with representatives of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current international agenda topics and promising areas of regional cooperation between Central Asia and the European Union.

Participants also reviewed key aspects of economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Germany, highlighting the potential for expanding bilateral partnership.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further developing Kazakhstan-Germany relations and expressed interest in implementing joint initiatives aimed at strengthening expert dialogue and deepening cooperation.

The Friedrich Ebert Foundation (Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, FES), founded in 1925, is one of Germany’s oldest political foundations, named after Friedrich Ebert, the first democratically elected president of Germany, and carries a rich historical legacy.
