Meeting with Representatives of the Committee on the Legal Statistics and Special Accounts of the State Office of Public Prosecutor Held at KazISS

On July 29, 2025, the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KazISS) hosted a working meeting with representatives of the Committee on the legal statistics and special accounts of the state office of public prosecutor of Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Committee Yeradil Akhmetov, KazISS Deputy Directors Alua Zholdybalina and Nurlan Sakuov, as well as experts from both sides.

The parties discussed key areas of cooperation, including analytical and expert support, data exchange, and the development of joint projects.

Yeradil Akhmetov emphasized the high level of KazISS’s analytical expertise and expressed interest in exchanging digital data for deeper analysis and the development of forecasting tools.

Alua Zholdybalina presented the Institute’s main areas of work – foreign and domestic policy, and the economy – and highlighted the importance of analyzing citizens’ appeals as a key indicator of public sentiment.

Nurlan Sakuov focused on the role of think tanks in shaping solutions to socio-economic issues. He stressed the need for a systematic approach based on big data and economic modeling in areas such as bullying prevention and the regulation of fines.

The meeting marked a step toward strengthening interagency dialogue and enhancing the partnership between the research and analytical community and law enforcement agencies to improve the effectiveness of public policy.
