Today, on February 13, an important event took place – a regional representative of the KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Aktobe region was appointed in Aktobe. He is an associate professor of the Department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and Socio-Political disciplines of Aktobe regional university named after K. Zhubanov, candidate of political sciences Askhat Kenessov. This news was announced by the Director of the institute Yerkin Tukumov during a meeting with an attendance of scientists and experts.
Opening the meeting, Yerkin Tukumov noted, that the high-level specialists work in the regions of the country. Often, the local expert knows the subtleties that allow him to build a harmonious picture of the situation in the region. KazISS regularly carries out field research, but the constant presence of a representative of the institute in the region will allow to receive and analyze information more quickly.
This is the first experience of KazISS, which is being implemented in the form of a joint project with the University named after Zhubanov. In the year of its 30th anniversary, KazISS moves to a new level of cooperation. Combining the human potential and resources of KazISS and the university will give impetus to regional research.
As part of the working trip, a meeting of the national expert platform «KazISS GPS. Gylym. Pikir. Sayasat» on the topic «Regional studies: cooperation of KazISS and the University» was also held in Aktobe.
