The Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan presents the results of a sociological survey on the employment structure of Kazakhstani citizens.
Work is the main source of income for most people,as well as a way of development and emotional satisfaction. The issue of employment continues to be among the most pressing concerns of Kazakhstanis. How many of them have a job, in what spheres they work, in their specialty or not – these questions were asked in the republican surveyof public opinion.
According to the results of the study,the proportion of working respondents among the entire adult population is 54.0%. Another 10% of respondents do not have a job, and 2.7% of them are actively looking for one.
