The Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been publishing the scientific journal “Central Asia’s Affairs” since 2004. Our journal is registered with the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and is included in the list of recommended publications by the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Field of Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the Kazakhstan Citation Base (KazCB).
“Central Asia’s Affairs” is a peer-reviewed journal that is published quarterly and informs scholarly discourse and policy discussions on the region by engaging experts from international relations and political sciences. The main objective of the journal is to analyze and reflect on local regional events and changes in the Central Asian region.
We provide a platform for Kazakhstani and international scholars and researchers, inviting them to collaborate as guest editors for journal issues in the second half of 2024–2025.
We invite you, as researchers of the region, to submit original scientific articles that align with the specified thematic directions for 2024. Your contribution will be highly valuable for the development of our publication.
