KazISS held an expert meeting on topical issues of development and cooperation in Central Asia

An expert meeting on this topic took place the day before. The event was organized by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The meeting was held in a video conference format using the ZOOM platform.

Expert discussions of this kind contribute to a deeper understanding of complex international dynamics, as well as create conditions for an open exchange of positions on specific issues and decisions that may affect the future of Central Asia.

Taking into account the format of the videoconference, the experts discussed topical issues, exchanged views and analysis of prospects and opportunities for regional development. Among the participants were leading independent experts from Kazakhstan and border countries.

It is worth noting that this is the first meeting in the framework of the planned series of online discussions on specialized topics relevant to Kazakhstan’s foreign and domestic policy. The discussions were held in the format of Chatham House.
