Heads of state analytical centers met in KazISS following the speech of the Head of State at the second session of the National kurultai “Adiletti Kazakhstan – Adal azamat”.
Speaking in Turkestan, the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized the need for quality expert-analytical support of state policy and taking into account public sentiments and proposals of citizens when making decisions. He noted the need for comprehensive research and a coordinated approach in conducting sociological research to guarantee the reliability of the results obtained.
In this regard, today at KazISS experts from leading analytical research centers such as SRC “Youth”, Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Research, Institute of Economic Research, Kazakhstan Institute of Social Development, Institute of Parliamentarism and others, as well as representatives of government agencies met at a round table to discuss the current challenges, problems and prospects for the development of “think tanks” in Kazakhstan.
As a result of the meeting, the need to update the database on all branches of foreign and domestic policy, economics, sociology and more coordinated cooperation of analytical centers of Kazakhstan was voiced. In addition, the issues of staffing and cooperation with universities of the country in terms of training, as well as interaction with experts from different regions of Kazakhstan were discussed.
