According to a study by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), European countries are experiencing the highest death toll related to terrorist attacks. At the same time, the threat of right-wing extremist political terrorism has increased by 250% over the past five years. The most acute situation is observed in Germany, where the latest vivid examples are the terrorist attacks in Hanau (9 dead) and Halle (2 dead), as well as the assassination of the German politician W. Lübсke in Kassel.
