According to experts, this landmark event stimulates the further development of partnership and strengthening of ties between the two countries.

“The Kazakhstani-Chinese partnership covers a wide range of development areas, from energy to the creation of full-cycle production facilities. Such projects as the International сenter for сross-border cooperation “Khorgos”, the Dry port “Khorgos”, as well as the railway routes Lianyungang – Duisburg and others, are the basis for the development of not only bilateral partnership, but also regional cooperation on the Eurasian continent,” – director of KazISS Yerkin Tukumov said in his welcoming speech.

The parties also touched upon the abolition of visa restrictions between Kazakhstan and China. According to the Kazakhstani side, this opens up new opportunities for the development of tourism and business activity. The Chinese side, in turn, noted that it is important to strengthen transport projects so that they correspond to the growing flow of passengers. Meanwhile, Kazakhstan and China actively cooperate not only at the bilateral level, but also within the framework of international organizations such as the SCO and CICA. The parties noted that this cooperation is aimed at ensuring regional security and increasing economic potential around the world.

During the meeting, a thesis was made related to the fact that scientists and experts play a special role at the current stage of the development of relations between Kazakhstan and China. Their close cooperation helps government agencies, businesses and citizens to find new ideas and opportunities for the implementation of strategic partnership, the participants of the conversation noted.
