A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Narxoz University on the sidelines of the Sociological Forum “Social Research in the Digital Age: Trends and Challenges”, held in Almaty on June 1–2, 2026.
The signing ceremony was attended by Zhandos Shaimardanov, Director of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Kanat Kozhakhmet, рresident of Narxoz University.
During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation and expressed their interest in developing a long-term partnership. The agreement provides for the establishment of regular contacts, the implementation of joint educational, research, and expert-analytical projects, as well as the exchange of knowledge and professional experience.
The cooperation is aimed at strengthening ties between the expert and academic communities, advancing applied research, and contributing to high-quality analytical support for public policy.
The memorandum emphasizes that its signing lays the foundation for further expanding cooperation in the fields of science, education, and analytical activities, as well as for implementing joint initiatives of mutual interest to both parties.
It should be noted that KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Narxoz University jointly organized the Sociological Forum “Social Research in the Digital Age: Trends and Challenges.”
